Create Multiple Home Pages

You can download Firefox, an Internet browser you can use instead of Internet Explorer, free from http://www.mozilla.org.  Just by using Firefox instead of IE, you can significantly reduce your chances of being infected with Spyware/Adware.

One thing about Firefox you'll want to try right away is its tabbed browsing feature, allowing you to easily switch between pages by clicking tabs at the top, like the spreadsheet tabs you have at the bottom in Microsoft Excel.

Having Firefox open multiple pages every time you launch it is simple.  While in Firefox, select Tools, Options.  Click the General tab and then click somewhere inside the 'Home Page' area.  You can either change the current home page by deleting what's already there, or add another by going to the end and starting with a pipe | symbol.  Then you type each home page, separated by a pipe.  It might look something like this:

http://www.google.com | http://www.cnn.com | http://my.yahoo.com

Click OK when you are done entering sites. Exit Firefox, and the next time you launch it, you'll have your favorite sites already launched, saving you time in going to each site separately.
